Overdraft Study

Since Congress relaunched its initiative to overhaul overdraft protection offerings and the fees charged, many banks and credit unions are announcing changes to their overdraft fees and policies. Knowing this is a significant source of fee income, not to mention the public relations aspect, our team researched and compiled a report to help our clients track those changes.

The study includes a reporting of overdraft fees for the top 35 banks and 15 credit unions by total assets. Given that many banks and credit unions have announced changes later in the year, the study will be ongoing. Updates and releases will be made quarterly through the end of the year.
